Company overview

Shinsung Hitech designs and builds steel coil processing equipment and textile printing machines. The company was founded in 2010 as Shinsung Heavy Industries and took its present name in 2017. On the steel side it covers the full range of lines that cut, level and form coil: slitting lines, rotary shearing lines, coil processing and tension levelling and jumbo leveller lines, blanking lines and destackers, and pipe and tube mill lines. The main applications are coil service centres and automotive steel sheet processing. On the textile side it offers the SSP series of printing machines in single-action, linked and sample versions. The head office is in Guji-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu. The company obtained ISO 9001 in 2011 and established a corporate research institute the same year, and registered a patent for a leveller joint clamper in 2013. It was designated a Promising Export SME and received the Three Million Dollar Export Tower award in 2013, was selected as a strong small business by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2015, and exhibited at the VTG textile machinery show in Vietnam in 2016.

Main products

Slitting line

Equipment that cuts heavy steel coil lengthwise into narrower coils of the required width. A mini slitting line for smaller coils and a robotic slitting tool changing system are built alongside it.

Rotary shearing line

A line that uncoils strip and cuts it to set lengths as sheet. Because cutting is done by rotary shear, sheet can be produced continuously without stopping the line, which suits sheet supply at coil service centres.

Coil processing and levelling lines

Processing lines that uncoil, level and recoil strip, together with tension levelling and jumbo leveller lines that remove residual stress and camber to secure flatness. This stage governs the quality of downstream pressing and cutting.

Blanking line and destacker

A blanking line that punches press-forming blanks from coil, and a destacker that feeds stacked sheet to an automatic press one at a time. The two are used together in automotive sheet processing.

Textile printing machine

Printing equipment that applies patterns to fabric. The range comprises the SSP-9900S single-action, SSP-2900T linked and SSP-1900S sample models, covering both production lines and sample development.
